We have appliances! I didn’t do an update last week. Everything stopped progressing because we were just waiting for countertops and everything else really hinged on the countertops going in.

Below is a before and after with the new paneled refrigerator installed. It already feels so much lighter and cleaner. As I mentioned on Instagram, the real hero is the skylight and how it lights up the whole sink area. Best decision we ever made.

The countertops were installed on Friday, and we spent the weekend DIYing.

As of this morning, the utility room is done! I’m waiting for a rug to come in, but otherwise, we’re just enjoying the new space. Sorry, no pics until the reveal.

We’ve made less progress on the kitchen. The range is in. The original countertops have been cut down and reinstalled.

We spent the weekend without a kitchen sink. but that’s been rectified. We also added some blingy new gold faucets that I’m SO happy with. Motion sensor faucets are not my thing so I’m thrilled to go back to an old school faucet that only goes on when I want it to!

Next up, the cabinets that rest on the countertop go in. The electrician needs to come back and finish the outlets in the cabinets. Then we can focus on the backsplash- I’m really excited about this part!
